Spring is yhe perfect time for visiting Bordeaux. White asparagus is the queen of the season when it comes to local gastronomy. One can find it in the markets and in the restaurants, and there is even a festival dedicated to this exquisite vegetable! We invite you to discover this vegetable from the farm to the table, and paired with the wine that matches. 


The stay as described is indicative and flexible. Do not hesitate to fill in your wishes or practical information when you make your request (duration, special requests, food constraints). An adapted and tailor-made proposal will be made for you. Inbound and outbound transport to and from Bordeaux is not included.

  • Day 1

    Welcoming upon your arrival in Bordeaux and transfer to your hotel. Take your time until the end of the day for a first contact with the city and to discover the historical centre.

  • Day 2

    Discover an asparagus farm accompanied by a member of our team. You'll learn everything about asparagus, how it is farmed, and it will be followed by a tasting of course! Enjoy a lunch in the vineyards to discover local gastronomy. Head back to Bordeaux and enjoy the rest of the day in the city, for example strolling the longest pedestrian street of Europe!

  • Day 3

    If yesterday we discovered how to grow asparagus today we'll find out how to prepare it! A local chef will reveal all his cooking secrets to master this delicate vegetable. And after his masterclass you can taste your creations paired by white Bordeaux wines.

  • Day 4

    For your last morning, visit the Cité du Vin, the emblematic Bordeaux museum, to broaden your knowledge of the wines of the world. Continue with a walk in the heart of the Chartrons district with its markets and many antique dealers, true memories of the local heritage. Adapt the pace of your last day to your departure times.
