Exposition “Robots” — CAP Sciences (07.19-05.20)

Useful, worrying, indespensible, insensitive: robots pose as many questions as they draw fascination. Humanoids, industrial or domestic robots, they will all show up at Cap Sciences... Come and explore this new revolution and answer the question: will the robots ever replace humans?!

Jumping International of Bordeaux (06.02-09.02)

Horse lovers, passionates, practicing and professional: come and share your passion around this unique event, rich in shows, entertainment and meetings with the world elite!

Jumping International of Bordeaux is heavily anchored in history of the world competition of horse jumping being one of the stops of the circuit at the creation of the event. 

"Fête des boeufs gras de Bazas" (20.02)

The Bazadaise breed is the pride of the region with its renowned gastronomy. Since 1283, every Thursday before Mardi Gras, the city of Bazas has hosted the famous "Fête des Bœufs Gras", during which the most beautiful specimens of the Bazadaise breed are presented. Adorned with ribbons and flowery wreaths, the oxen march to the sound of fife and drums in the streets of the city, before being judged by experts. The day ends with a banquet where you can taste this famous marbled meat.

Les vins kilomètres de Saint-Emilion (8.03)

The fifth edition of this race is taking place early March. Marathon, half-marathon or 11km of running or walking in a pittoresque environment. Don't miss this scenic run, starting in Château Soutard. 

Festival “Les fous rires de Bordeaux!” (14.03-21.03)

"Les Fous Rires de Bordeaux" is simply the first major comedy festival in Bordeaux! 80 artists in the whole city 8 days: Laughing guaranteed! Activities throughout the city... Imagined and designed to become a major event in the region, the Festival offers to experiment with all forms of humour: from visual arts to iconography, fashion and why not cooking? From photo exhibitions to improvisation battles, from improbable bands to outdoor cinema.... Humour is unifying, humour is a source of inspiration, humour is consumed without moderation.

Le Bassin des Lumières à la base sous marine (17.04)

An immersive digital exhibition will open on April 17. A total of four water basins measuring 12 metres high, 100 metres long and 22 metres wide will be used for this visual show, presented as one of the largest multimedia installations in the world. The programme will feature Gustav Klimt's masterpieces. 

Flea Market and Antiquities

A must for all bargain hunters, the "Brocante des Quinconces" reserves for you fabulous nuggets and brushes all periods, from the 18th century to the icons of design, and all fields: paintings, silverware, vintage, records, professional furniture, objects of interest...

"Printemps des vins de Blaye Côtes de Bordeaux" (18.04-19.04)

This festive and gourmet event has become THE must-attend event for wine lovers. Every year, more than 10,000 visitors gather in the heart of the magnificent Citadelle of Blaye to taste the best wines of the winegrowers of the Blaye Côtes de Bordeaux appellation.

"Challenge international du Vin" (24.04-25.04)

Every year in spring, during 2 mornings, nearly 5,000 wines from 37 countries are tasted in Bordeaux by more than 700 professionals and informed amateur consumers. The International Wine Challenge is the oldest of the major international wine competitions. It is also the largest international wine competition organised in France!

"Fête de l’asperge" (25.04-26.04)

A must-visit gastronomic event and the largest event in the Garonne Estuary. In April in Blaye we celebrate the queen of the season - asparagus! Culinary workshops and tastings, shows, concerts, music and entertainment... the weekend is filled with joy and something simply delicious.

"Rallye des Côtes de Bourg" (09.05)

The Rally of Côtes de Bourg will be one of the key moments of the weekend, which will end with a great festive evening "Tous O Bar à Vins". An exceptional new edition with a journey full of puzzles and surprises awaits you. You will leave with an unforgettable memory of our region and the wine castles. A rich and varied programme will be on offer during the weekend, alternating visits to vineyards & cellars and tastings of Côtes de Bourg & local products.

"Fête vigneronne" (12.06-14.06)

During the 2nd weekend of June, the Sainte-Croix-du-Mont Festival Committee organizes the Fête Vigneronne: a friendly and gastronomic event with meals and tasting of local wines! Visitors are welcomed in the courtyard of Château de Tastes, can taste the different wines of the appellation's wine châteaux and take part in the activities on offer: floral art exhibition, painting exhibition, meals with local products, orchestra led by Jean-Michel Cursan.

"Les Epicuriales" (12.06-22.06)

Every year for more than twenty years now, La Ronde des Quartiers de Bordeaux presents Les Epicuriales, a unique event centred around an ephemeral village in the heart of Les Allées de Tourny and dedicated to restaurants and gastronomy. Les Épicuriales is a food festival at your fingertips, with dozens of chefs opening ephemeral restaurants and offering great dishes at a low price.

Les Épicuriales also offers friendly entertainment, demonstrations, workshops, culinary shows, all given by leading names in French and international cuisine. 

"Bordeaux fête le vin" (18.06-21.06)

In 2020, Bordeaux Fête le Vin will once again combine the presence of majestuous sailing ships with a tasting of Bordeaux and New Aquitaine wines. On a real "open-air wine route" of 1.2 km along the river, visitors will meet the winegrowers and merchants of Bordeaux. Nearly 80 appellations will welcome visitors to "ephemeral wine bars" run by winegrowers or merchants and open to the pleasures of tasting, discovery and exchange.

"Fête de la musique" (21.06)

The "Fête de la musique" (basically music fest) extends to squares, gardens and throughout the city around the theme of urban music. The Fête de la Musique takes over the entire metropolitan area: various programs: pop, rock, classical, baroque, jazz, rap, electro, folk, guinguette, hip/hop... there is something for everybody!
